Starkrun: The best all in one i know off that can be maintained and updated offline is CCE Download the version you want, get definition updates and run offline... you'll need to manually update it every few weeks or so to keep it viable.

Its a rootkit, virus, malware, PUP and HT scanner that gives you cleaning control.
I was more making a point to yours about "not needing anything else", but this is a good suggestion, and I will look into it myself. Thanks. :)

I use only windows defender, it's free and it's light compare to other "free" antvirus, and it doesn't ask you to buy premium features. I never had any problem with that. And i use Ublock origin+ Umatrix + Noscrift in firefox to navigate .

Alright then, the consensus seems to be "just get rid of it & use Windows Defender," so that's what I'll go with.

To add to that i'd suggest keeping a scanner on a mem stick for if defender even gets corrupted(rare but possible).
