adaliabooks: Edit: Also if Galaxy is installed does this mean clicking the web installer link will basically just launch Galaxy and download the game through that? That would be handy if it were the case.

Venom: Yes, if you have GOG Galaxy installed the game will just be added to the download queue. You will also get the game installation screen in GOG Galaxy to set the installation path.
Downloading through Galaxy will download the Classic "offline" installer, I suppose?

Honestly, this method, I think is satisfactory for most.

This is great, actually

Breja: Also, is it just me or is "Download size 1MB (additional space required for GOG Galaxy installation and [insert game title here])" a bit, you know, vague?
It shouldn't be too hard to replace "additional space" with the exact amount of MB/GB for both Galaxy and the game. There's definitely room for improvement there, but it's an easy fix.

I don't mind the big blue button. Unless you're extremely click-happy, all information is displayed in a reasonably clear way, so you should know exactly where you're getting into.

I know, I don't think the button's a problem, I just think it's a bit funny how oversized it looks. It's not exactly subtle about the "just click this and don't look at anything else please" design :D

When you launch the new web installer you will get the game installation screen in GOG Galaxy, which clearly shows both the download and installation size, and allows you to change the game installation path,

Great job. Very nicely done. Thank you for the update.
it is still unclear to me what this is trying to accomplish ?
Just redirect the "BIgBlueButton" to download the galaxy client would effectively achieve the same and would be much easier to implement & maintain.
Wow. That is nice! Better than I would thought it could be.

Gog had been getting some wins lately. Well done!
Makes sense. Good work.

You get a very small download (1MB) that always installs latest version of GOG Galaxy and latest version of the game itself in one click.

So... It's installs Galaxy if it can't find it, and then Galaxy takes over the installation process?

Yes, it installs latest version of GOG Galaxy and than GOG Galaxy downloads and installs the latest version of the game. If GOG Galaxy is already installed, it proceeds directly do the game installation.

Everything is clear now, thanks.
This is much clear and intuitive, thanks GOG.
I like this solution for installer dilemma than previous one.

BTW where is Fables22?
