Does this game look like the SWAT 5 we all wanted, yes I think this is it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENubw-Iz_Oo

We haven't had a proper Tactical FPS that focuses on Squad Based, Close-Quarters Operations since Rainbow Six 3 and SWAT 4.

This trailer came out in May of last year though so I haven't found any recent updates on it. But I am looking forward to this.

Why don't you link the website ?

Dunno, the gun fetishy trailer, the announced "visceral gore", and the vaguely post-apocalyptic setting (hinting at a social collapse of sorts) sound pretty far from the refreshing bring-em-back-alive specificity of the SWAT series. I expect a somewhat generic tactical slaughterthon, despite the couple of cuffed goons in one trailer's shot.

Where in that entire trailer said "Post Apocalyptic" to you?

And to be frank SWAT 4 had its flaws like despite five heavily armed police troopers aiming guns at you, the criminal is that stubborn and fires on the cops.

And also, some of the missions in SWAT 4 would realistically demand more than 5 SWAT men to quell the situation.

The Hospital Raid in perticular would require at least 10-20 SWAT men. And why didn't the SWAT team be allowed to go weapons free when they were dealing with what are clearly hostile terrorists who slaughtered the Hospital staff?

And according to game's website they do factor in Non-Leathel weapons and gear and with that trailer showing handcuffed suspects I think its safe to say the game will factor the "drop your weapons and get on the ground" options.

"It’s set in a nondescript modern America, where an income disparity between the classes have become unsustainable and the country has been plunged into havoc."
