It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

As stated in the title: the simulation itself is stuttering.

Controls work fine, audio is fine, framerate seems to be okay, but there is a stuttering in the way the cars move around, kinda like if the car would, wheels moving all over the place, making it unplayable.

Even driving itself is a challenge, let alone trying to aim at anything.

I have looked up a bunch of tutorials on how to make the game work, but links provided there are outdated and at minimum 2 years old.

It bugs me the most because the I didn't had a strong enough rig back in the days when it was released, then I couldn't buy the game anywhere and now I can't make it work :P

Suggestions are welcome from the people who maybe currently playing.

Thanks in advance!
I've had a lot of success with using dgVoodoo -- there's a super handy guide in the i76 specific board
