Hi at all,

is it possible to get the unpatched version of a game or uninstall a patch? E.g. if I dont want the changes a patch made to a game, is it possible to uninstall that patch?

Thank you very much

You can do this if you are using Galaxy.
https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/212806945-How-do-I-revert-rollback-to-an-older-game-version-

But GOG doesn't provide this option for standalone installers.

Not exactly.

But you can download the standalone installer, then the patch when it comes out, then uninstall the game. Then reinstall the game using the original installer, don't reinstall the patch.

In other words, keep backups of the offline installers.
Last time I looked at galaxy it didn't allow you to download all the patch versions.

Being on the PC platform one would think it would be trivial to have a program to what changes are made and create your own patches instead of having a number of full game installs. The way it is done now wastes bandwidth for both gog and customers.
