Hey,

I just installed galaxy to download the Witcher 3 preload files. As I like to have backups of my digital game installers (especially games like GTA V, Wolfenstein huge installers) I first configured my installer and installation folders and then tried downloading FEZ and Master of Magic. Both games installed perfectly but I have no installer saved in the specified folder. Manuals are not stored in the specified extra folder. I can't find any other option to make backups.

Help...

I think the backup installers were under extras or something along those lines.

Help...
The "Install" function doesn't download any installer, but only installs the game to the specificed directory. To download a game as a standalone installer, you need to click "More", "Download Extras", and both the option to download a standalone installer, along with a game's extras (like manuals, soundtracks, etc.) will now be available to you.

No friend, I don't believe you are dumb. Otherwise, I would have to believe that all those who asked the same question were also dumb. GOG could indeed do it more intuitively.
