Hello,
I created this topic to explain a problem that some people must have encountered but which I have not resolved. I purchased Cyberpunk 2077 using the GOG Galaxy 2.0 app that I installed. I had to delete the game to install another one on my PC, then I did the opposite to want to download Cyberpunk 2077 again but they told me I was running out of space. I made some room but nothing worked, just a long charge..
So I searched and was advised to uninstall GOG Galaxy, when I try to put it back I am told "A more recent version already exists, end of download" even though I deleted everything. Since then I haven't been able to do anything, not even have GOG galaxy or even have Cyberpunk.. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks..
Use something like the open source program Bulk Crap Uninstaller or Geek Uninstaller to see if Galaxy really is still installed, and then thoroughly uninstall it. Then, if you really want to use Galaxy again you can get the latest version here: https://www.gog.com/galaxy

https://github.com/Klocman/Bulk-Crap-Uninstaller
(Although Geek uninstaller is easier to use and has a cleaner UI)

Deleting and uninstalling programs have different meanings. If you just deleted Galaxy then it would still be in the registry and that's what installers mainly are checking.

Alternatively, and like many here prefer, just point your browser to https://www.gog.com/en/account and then instead download the offline installers for the game. You'll spend a bit more time and space but in the end it's the least hassle way.
