Hi guys I tried to download the new 1.04 Witcher 3 patch today on Galaxy and it fails at the end, saying it has a disk access problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Any fix?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't had this problem with patches, but I consistently got it when trying to get Galaxy to install games to a different drive. No matter what I tried, I could not get it to work. I'll be interested to see what suggestions pop up for your issue.

Well this is weird, I tried for the third time and now it successfully installed. Might had been a problem with the server since the patch is still relatively new. Same thing happened on day one, so I assume it might be server stress if everyone downloads it at once.
My Avast antivirus caused that at random, until I put galaxy temp downloads folder on exclusion list.

Hey thanks for that tip. I was having the same disk access error. Adding that Avast exclusion seems to have fixed it *crosses fingers*
Just my 2 cents worth but,I've seen a few problems with game caused by anti-virus
and Avast seems to be a common one.

I can confirm that. Had problem downloading Neverwinternights 2 through Galaxy for ages. Excluding the "temp" folder in GOG's download folder from Avast has solved the problem.
