I noticed that some of my PS4 games have an install button above them but it doesn't do anything when I press it. is it possible to install PS4 games while it's in rest mode via Gog Galaxy 2.0?

No. The only theoretical way you can play PS4 games on PC is through an emulator, and emulator for PS4 isn't out yet, and likely won't be until at least next gen.

I think the install button is just to queue your PS4 to install a game when you turn on the PS4, assuming your PS4 is connected online.

Yep, it also has games nowhere for lots of games, called games for windows dead. Avoid M$ game offerings of any type.

Well, I would rate PS above Xbox. Given the choice I would of course not go console even though I own loads. They are for console exclusive titles. I would always advise avoiding M$ when it comes to games, they have proved over and over to be the worst provider, with GFWL, windows store. Much like I would always suggest to avoid windows phones, or windows tablets, (Office, Hotmail the list goes ever onwards) there are far better equivalents out there. Only time M$ is preferable is for an operating system, and that’s only for simplicity and that is dwindling.

percentage wise it is a perfect company but if you'd happen to fall into the bad percentage part of the list hate seems to be understandable... to bad almost your only other option is linux

To be fair, win10 is ok once you get rid of the bloat and spyware settings, and pop in classic shell. They have gone out of their way over the last 10 years to purposely destroy all their software, bad management or incompetence I don’t know. Perhaps it’s trying to emulate other companies.

I can say this much MS has improved since GFWL era at least games that you get from the Xbox Game pass ultimate to your PC the games work and at least you can save your progress unlike the crap that GFWL had.

Just noticed they changed the whole deal recently, also adding ea play to the deal which makes it all in all quite amazing for that amount of money.... i should do some math on this topic.... with a subscription costing you 120 euro's a year will that translate to the amount of money most cheap skates spend in over a year on games, personally i at least buy 3 to 4 games full price a year not to mention a 100 bucks extra on discounted titles. it does seem money lost if they go at it like this but maybe it will be a better offer for their general gamer, i mean a better lure

still it will make you think twice if you plan on buying something from publishers that have a similar deal offering, for you get another 13 in a grind title ( which can be fine of course if the take is similar to any triple A action movie )

And assuming it shares an account AND that you own the game on the Sony Library, as i doubt you can install anything willy-nilly. (That would make it a computer and you could do what you want with it...)

I'm speaking specifically about games already owned on PSN.
