Hey Guys, Im a long time Gog lover and supporter. I decided to give blogging a shot after doing some writing and really enjoying it. I few friends of mine are starting to get involved and its been a real positive experience so far I plan to do more with the site but wanted to get folks opinions and see what you thought since its still in the early days. I dont expect to make money from this, I just use it as an outlet to talk about a passion of mine. Its very much focused on Classic\Retro gaming. Im planning on doing something regarding Classic PC games and the "Best Diablo Clones" and Favorite PC games from my childhood and include links to the ones already on Gog.

Like and Subscribe if you like it. Any advice from other bloggers will be appreciated !

When this topic comes up, I usually look more at the technical aspect of a website and let others look at the writing.

1) Consider getting off wordpress.com. They're a frequent target of censorship and blocking by governments and they are be more than willing to delete a blog to keep the others safe and accessible.

Granted I don't think your blog will be one that's targeted but still...

2) Consider using the excerpt function of if your theme doesn't support it, the more tag. Your front page is huge.

3) A friendly reminder that red is a problem color for many and may or may not be visible to readers. Having said that, it is a contrast to the other text colors and the background so it may be ok.

4) Going back to the huge front page issue, you may want to reduce down the number of posts on your (little p) pages. We usually recommend five at the most. You're already presenting the 10 most recent posts in the side bar.

Just some quick thoughts.

Hey this is all good advice, thanks for taking the time to write and let me know this. This is all very new to me so any advice goes along way, especially from a technical standpoint. I will definitely take you all of what you said to heart, but the part about excerpts I have often thought about myself s its nice to get some similar feedback.
