Stellar Monarch and Stellar Monarch: The Age of Technology DLC with a -50% launch discount
Stellar Monarch is a sci-fi turn-based strategy game where you take up the role of the emperor, not a logistics officer. You don't deal with low level stuff like building farms, factories or individual ships. Instead you focus on the grander scale of things. Your tasks are also to grant audiences, make edicts, appoint imperial officials, deal with court factions and assassins, crush rebels, decide on production quotas and priorities – all while being enchanted with realistic, asymmetric gameplay. The Age of Technology DLC though, focuses more on the grand scale of things with no micromanagement. There are rebels, assassins, court factions and disloyal admirals. In addition to traditional 4X mechanics you also deal with the internal affairs of the empire.
Stellar Monarch 2 with a 30% launch discount
Stellar Monarch 2 shares the mechanics with its preceder, and yet again you get a chance to become the emperor. Being a Head of the Royal Dynasty, you have to keep in check Barons and Dukes from other Great Houses, ensure their loyalty and obedience, and make sure they are an asset of the Empire, not an obstacle. You’ll appoint people from the imperial court to Ministers and Advisors, taking into account not only their competence and loyalty, but also family connections. Beware though – your quest will be to also fend off assassins, traitors, usurpers and rebels.
Winter Falling: Battle Tactics with a 24% launch discount
It’s a strategy roguelike simulation game, where in a tabletop manner you’ll get to lead troops in tense tactical battles – just you and your brain against the dying world. Your quest will be to manage a mercenary company, scavenge supplies, and ultimately, build an army. Your battles will play out in real time, but you’ll also be able to play at your own speed, just pause and ponder; but you’ll be able to win only if you manage your army well on the world map.
