trentonlf: Not sure what Randal's Monday is, but gave it one more shot and that's what I got.
avatar
mrkgnao: Do note that it comes with a gift code (in your library, under the game, More, Serial Keys).

I purchased it as a gift code. So if I redeem it I will still have a key to give away for it?

apehater: i heard that randal's tuesday is waaay better

blotunga: I'm just playing Postal 2. Tuesday is definitely better than Monday.

NuffCatnip: I opened a couple of Pinatas (7 >.<), every one contained a game I already own on Steam.
My question is how long does the gog-support take to solve this kind of problem?
Its Saturday evening, do you think theyll reply on Monday ?
Fixing that you get games which you own on steam?

Anyhow, on another note, can we actually just refund the games if we have not yet downloaded them?

I just checked, it gives one of those promo codes. Fairly short expiration too, Oct 28th.

trentonlf: I take it you like the game lol :-)
Hahaha, I'm just happy that you got something you didn't already have and that may turn out good too! ;-D

I haven't played it (don't have it), but the story is interesting, I do like the art style, and it's a p&c.

I will redeem it and send you the extra key, then we both get to have it :-D

The gift code is not for the same game, it's for one of three games:
Edna & Harvey: The Breakout
Deponia
A New Beginning: Final Cut

Oops, forgot to explain it.
"Solving the problem" as in giving me a store credit or something like that while deleting those games from my library.

I highly doubt its going to work, but hey its worth a shot. ^^

Interesting, thanks for the info :-)

Are there any other games which give keys like this? I seem to recall some newer game giving a 2nd key...oh master of MaGog...

I was going to say that I doubt that it comes with an extra code for the same game, but mrkgnao beat me to it with facts. Thanks a bunch for the thought, I'll be equally happy if you let me know what you think of the game when you play it. :-)

That should be Frozen Synapse.

The games that MaGog's know of (i.e. because I own the games):
- Frozen Synapse (gift code for the same game)
- Guacamelee! Gold Edition (66% discount for the Super Turbo edition -- I still have mine if someone wants it -- expires in 9 days)
- Incredipede (gift code for the browser (i.e. not GOG) version of the same game)
- Randal's Monday (gift code for one of three games)
- Wasteland 2 Classic Edition (gift code for Wasteland 1)
- Wasteland 2 Deluxe Edition (gift code for The Bard's Tale)

I have this stuff available as well - if anyone that I know through the forums is interested, just let me know.
I got in 3 tries:

Blackwell Bundle
Lumino City
Randal's Monday

That last one I could tell from the store page alone that I would never ever ever ever want to play it. Especially not after giving the first two good-faith tries to see if I would find them entertaining (I did not).

Had I known the odds were that I'd get nothing but adventure-puzzle games (I do not find them entertaining at all) I would have kept my money. The only one of these I would have willingly paid even $3 for was Lumino City, at least that one has good production values. Blackwell has graphics that would have been considered outdated 20 years ago.

Left a real sour taste in my mouth. I will not be participating in anything like this in the future. Hopefully I'll get my money back on the last one which I refuse to even download.
Oops. Crap. I don't know why, but I was under the impression that you got 3 games in the Piñata.

I wouldn't have tried it if I'd known. Much better chance of getting something decent that way.

Anyway I got Randal's Monday. It's a gift code that I guess'll never be redeemed.
