Volgarr the Viking

If I purchase another as gift, for safety, can I then gift it to myself or redeem the gift if I decide that I want it?
I got Volgar, Dust, and Halfway. I was really interested in this pinata sale but think I won't buy any more. I own 700+ games on steam and don't want to run the risk of doubling up. I got lucky the first time.
Shit, I knew I shouldn't have. I went for 3 pinatas and got one game I might play (Blackwell) and two I would rather watch paint dry than play (Eador & Gods will be watching). :/

I really wanted Republique. >:(

blotunga: Ah, damn, so no way of knowing before paying. Well played GOG.
Actually, I believe It was a tactical mistake on GOG's part.
Giving users some form of partial control and turning it into a community effort to uncover the logic behind the mystery games kept interest in similar sales in the past for days. I expect here this will not happen as much.
In past sales (e.g. mutator sale), I bought many mystery games, getting some I owned (gifted) and some I didn't, but here, I might try once more in three days and that's about it.
So wait... the one game I would want (Dreamfalls) is "sold out"?

wtf?

No it's just dumb. Just wait for the game you want to go on sale and buy it.
Don't gamble around with this capsule toy mechanic, it's nonsense

tinyE: If anyone gets Hatred in their Pinata, I'll take it.

Okay, that's my inane smart ass comment for the day. Carry on. :D
It could be a nice surprise release now that it got recently updated.

SOLD OUT OF A DIGITAL GAME?

Yea, basically now the only challenge is to find out if how many of the games interest you. This way I can for example see that out of 24 games only 3 interest me somewhat and that one of them is already sold out :D. So no more lottery for me.

Well it looks like it because users who don't have it got instead something they had. That hints to being sold out.

Landmaj: I got Blackwell Bundle and immediately hid it in my library, never gonna play it, so worst spend $3 ever. :(

gamesfreak64: its not that bad i have it aswell, i bought it myself because i wanted it.
I'm not saying it's bad - it's probably a very good game. I just don't like point'n'click and I know I won't enjoy it.

BananaJane: SOLD OUT OF A DIGITAL GAME?
They have limited the quantities for the games in the Pinata.
Out of interest, I assume that if you pick up this package then if you already own some of them then they would be a gift to hand on yes? If so has anyone noticed a delay on this, or where I can find it as I brought a 3 package, one game I didn't have, so I should have two gifts, but only find the one game, and one email for that one game.
