Sad day...I can't make the GOG forums go up a directory... :(

EDIT: Apparently this is the first "index" thread of 2015...I really wish I had known that...

They archived all the other stuff. I think I see what you did there. Very interesting.

P.S. Here's an archived one: http://www.gog.com/forum/general_archive/index/page1

I would guess a_future_pilot knows that, judging by "first ... of 2015".

I'm just barely learning what's going on here. Pardon my ignorance.

My guess is ../.. changed the directory, which is interesting. I wonder if more ../..'s will go up more? Or something else? I don't know. Anyway, nifty stuff.

I remember way back in the day when the scripting thread title wars happened. That was exciting. :)

Ah yes. Someone found out how to embed code in a thread title and made the GOG forum redirect to some brony site, no?

Here's an interesting angle on the currently bugged-out-to-the-max state of the site, and of the notifications specifically. I currently have two library update notifications that won't go away. However, when I follow that link, I suddenly have no library updates, but instead have a pending friend request. In reality I have neither.

No worries.
.. (or ../) goes up one level, ../.. (or ../../) goes up two. Since the general forum is two levels deep (/forum/general), using more wouldn't have an effect.
So it isn't a thread giving the middle finger ? Disappoint.

All I'm saying is that if that is supposed to be the finger it looks like 4 fingers and then a 5th middle one sticking up. :P

Of course we are not counting the thumb which is usually off to the side or sticking strait out depending on how you choose to deliver the gesture. :D

Ah ! Here's your problem. Human's are nothing without their thumbs (proof is, when they hide it 'down there', they aren't worth much)
What the...
