Better get ready, because Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is now available on GOG in early access!

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is an open world RPG set in a dark fantasy universe, on a bleak island on the verge of ruin. Getting into the plot, you’ll find out that King Arthur is long dead, and all the myths and legends are falling – and humans living in Avalon are desperately trying to search for new ways of life and new things to believe in, all while being attacked by spreading Red Death and Wyrdness. At the beginning, you’ll find yourself imprisoned in a damp, underground cell, an absolute nobody; but who knows, perhaps you’ll become the one who brings a spark of change and hope in this land. Get ready for tons of quests, loot, choices, and monsters!

Now on GOG!

Mr. Ideal: It seems the offline installer is at 0.65. Did the galaxy install update?
Of course Galaxy is up-to-date.

People that do not want to use Galaxy are treated like low-life scum (as usual), and still have 0.65.
I bought the game but do not want to use Galaxy, so at this moment I am better off using a pirated version. That one is at least 1.0. Really sad if you think about it...
So far there isn't even a news confirming that the game left early access.

Builds take time. One could argue they could have them ready for the release date, but we don't see into GOG's internal processes and contracts. But assuming the build has a go only once the release date hits, a one day delay is nothing special.

If they can build it for Galaxy, then why don't they build it for off-line at the same time? Sure - It's maybe more involved, but the release date is known internally (at least I hope so), so they have enough time to synchronize Galaxy and off-line.
They could do that in the past (when Galaxy was released), so why not now? The only explanation is that off-line becomes more and more a afterthought, because Galaxy is more important...

I suspect it's mostly because a human element is involved in the offline installer process, whereas Galaxy is now fully automated. But again, just a guess. Nobody but GOG knows their internal processes.
Releasing on Fridays also seldom works in favour of the offline installer side of things.
Mainly because - as far as I know - the installers indeed are build and tested manually, and for a decently sized and complex title like Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon the whole process just takes a bit longer than with smaller, not as complex games.
There simply might have been not enough time to get the (thoroughly tested) v1.0 offline installers out before the weekend. And in case that's not been obvious - GoG employees, in compliance with European labour laws usually don't work on weekends.
Yup, if the developer sent the v1.0 build just a little too late on friday it's entirely possible GOG didn't have the time to get the installers ready
As much as I loath dlcs for in Dev games atleast this is one intended as mostly just to help support the devs and such clearly rather and its a sound track and art ..with just a piece of ingame stuff that the devs themselves made clearly as a joke poking fun at Bethesda's horse armor .. So I am actually okay with this as alot of other in dev games have dlcs that is actual content for the game like several items, extra characters, now lands or even extra story stuff

Side note will likely get this game later as despite wanting it now.. Eh not a fan of playing in dev games because of all the updates they can get rather quickly with varies changes .. that and I don't want to let a game set I got for full price or close to full price

But I do plan to get it as it sounds like a a game I wished skyrim was( only really played Skyrim here on Gog )

It seems I was a bit too hasty...

After getting some remarks at the game forum itself it turns out that the files marked as version 0.6 turned out to be version 1.0 after all (I just installed the game using the 0.6 installers and can confirm this).

While it's only natural I was confused by this wrong numbering, I still apologize for my harsh tone.

It seems that hereby the problem is solved. It would be nice to give those files the correct numbering to avoid confusing others though...
Dev are refusing to give me a GOG key from crowdfunding. They keep just resending a useless DRMed platform key. I've explained a million times otherwise.
