In Revival: Recolonization, set in a post-apocalyptic version of Earth, you’ll get a chance to engage in a 4x strategy experience. Is this game not available for purchase in some certain countries here on GOG? Just like on Steam?

GOG.com: Time for a grand strategy
Hmm, not pricey for the genre?

Not sure what price its set to in your region, but in Sweden it's about $30, which is slightly cheaper than Slitherine's and Paradox's 4X and grand strategy titles tend to go for.

not available in CIS, GE, MD, UA
"Recolonization"?

Do we really need another title that pushes that kind of overdone and stuck in the past subject?

Same (28.99 EU without discount). **New** grand strategy titles tent to cost ~ 1.5+x as much.(DW2: 42 cr, AoW4: 50 cr)
The particular title is self-published which likely causes the price offset.
Looks like more of a 4x civ 5 clone to me than a grand strat.

This is how I feel about a lot of games unfortunately. I keep going back to play Civ 4 every now and then. Civ 5 is still in my backlog - didn't get into it when I first tried it although I'm sure I will someday. I haven't even bought Old World yet.

I guess there are newer gamers that aren't encumbered by the past :)

Weird that a Russian game wouldn't be available in Russia.

According to developer's responses they decided to make Revival Recolonization a VK Play exclusive for these countries. That's funny enough because VK is not available in Ukraine.

That freaks still count UA as part of CIS (which was never true), so some malware services/corporations like mail.ru (so as vk) may have exclusive distribution rights on some products, for exapmple games including online/mmo.
Don't know why gog accept such products at all.

Why does GOG accept Whale Rock Games? Nobody knows what goes on in those walls, and that lack of transparency sometimes boggles the mind.
