Bright Memory is now available DRM-free as a game in development.

Bright Memory is developed by an independent game developer FYQD in his spare time. Travel to the sky of land to prevent SAI from digging out the secrets of the rebirth of ancient creatures. This is a war between future science and ancient civilization.

In this first-person action shooting game, the players can control different styles of special abilities and create a set of gorgeous combos with combination of skills. It tells a adventure story of Shelia of Natural Science Research Organization (SRO).
Just dropping this :

To begin with, with the announcment of restarting development duo to EA success, you will be buying right now a tech demo.

Said tech demo is ~30 mins long of linear level with 2 boss fights. Combat is hell of a fun though.
Who wants some Wang Chinese edition? It's funny when they mumble in Chinese.
The gameplay looks DRIVE.
And made by one person.
Well... I think at this price - I need to try.
Very nice, some sweet 30mins ahead. :)
(loved the early access reviews of some magazines on this one very much; it really sounds like a cool experiment!)
I don't think I've ever seen a game with this level of design have an "in dev" tag.

This looks almost like a AAA release.
I'm dying to hear some reviews because it almost looks too good to be true.

The English in the game card needs some TLC.
I wondered why it was so cheap. But when it is only the demo so far.
It still looks appealing. Will the price raise somehow, when the game is done?

If they raised the price how would that work for people that already own it?
Can an "In Dev" title start charging for updates?

I suppose they would profit from being early buyers and not having to buy at the raised prices anymore? I think it's not that uncommon that devs sell the Early Access version or Pre-Orders at lower prices and then raise the prices at release.

But I have no idea how it's handled in this case. It's probably safer to inquire on a case to case basis.

I'll ask GOG support.

I'm sure they'll get back to me with a reply.
Intriguing, let's keep an eye on this.

Not touching it for now as I'm pretty sure it doesn't have key rebindings...

tinyE:
After all, Early Access and Pre-orders are always kind of a gamble as you never know if the game will be properly finished and when and whether it will (still) match your expectations then. So it makes sense for the developers and publishers to give customers some incentives to buy early on, which could be lower prices, too.

It's was an episodic game and the original early access was for the first episode. Apparently that may have changed?
This is an episodic game (according to Wikipedia and a few other sites).
Shouldn't this be mentioned?
