theonlyone.338: Its a simple question and I have my right to not like the game. I didn't find it very good and I heard it was a diablo clone. If I don't like the game what do you expect me to do-keep playing it until I like it?

And I figured here was better since the game will be on here soon (at least probably soon).

CharlesGrey: How long did you play it? Sometimes it really is a good idea to keep playing for a while, even if a game doesn't immediately convince you. Some games need a while before they suck you in and develop their full addictive potential. Diablo 2 was such a case for me, and I think Titan Quest as well.

Personally I liked TQ better than D2, because they "borrowed" most of the good stuff, but did away with some tedious and outdated game mechanics, and also added in some brilliant new features. The Mythology theme was a bonus for me, but I understand that's a matter of personal preference. ( Also the expansion has some darker areas, such as Hades, closer to the feel of the Diablo games. )

Also, your post now has a valid purpose, since I wasn't aware of a potential GOG release of Grim Dawn. Is that official?
I am not sure what they have planned but I know that Gog and gamebanshee will be involved. The reasoning is that Titan Quest was on gamebanshee and will most definitely be on gog. You just know it because the company dealing with is much less troublesome than the gold box games and yet those games are on here. The less hard it is to get on here the more likely it will be that that they get on gog. They are not going to try and get all the hard games on gog at once. They will try and get some of the easy ones on.

That's just my logic.

I would even see diablo and diablo 2 get won over eventually but that will be harder.

theonlyone.338: My favorite action/rpgs in the genre are-

Diablo 1 and 2

Torchlight 1 and 2

Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2

D&D Heroes

Hero Siege

Harbinger

Brotherhood of Steel

Which one? I played Divine and didn't like it. Is beyond divinity any good?
I was talking about the first one (Divine, which I think is consensually the best) because I thought that you preferred a more elaborated skill tree / deeper RPG aspect. With that (cool) list, I see that you prefer more action packed and simple games, less in the rpg aspect and closer to a beat 'em up. Sadly, I cannot recommend any more, as you got my top 5 on that list already. You don't mention on that list Sacred nor Dungeon Siege, which are (usually listed) among the best Hack 'n Slash RPGs, like Titan Quest, so I suppose you don't like them either. If that it's true, I suppose you prefer the action part of these games, so I would suggest the more arcadeish Golden Axe, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara and all the like. I am pretty sure you already played them all, but in the dim chance you haven't, I think you'll have a great time with them. In the modern Beat 'em Up with dim RPG, I must name Castle Crashers too. I loved it.

I haven't played Grim, but I always pictured like a Titan Quest/Sacred. Could be wrong, most likely.
Also, Van Helsing is pretty decent if you like a simple game about slashing monsters in a gothic-ish atmosphere.

But anyways, you can't get enough BG DA :P Kickass game, you made me want to play them all over again! xD
