It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

jimmbimm: - no way to see updates
There is an Update feed for all the games you have. But I don't know if the client does auto-updates as I don't use it (because it's pretty bad as I said before).
Where is the update feed? I see "My Feed", but nowhere on that page can I find anything like a simple list -- just for games I own -- mentioning when there's been a new version uploaded.

(BTW, the client does apparently auto-update installed games. If you're into that, which I'm not. :P )

Outsiders: So back to my question of where else can you purchase games if not for those three gaming sites?
Well as many have noted, Itch.io is a good option, though it does have some pitfalls, with the biggest one for me being too much crap to wade through. But I guess you could say that last issue is the same at Steam.

Epic is not the only major game store outside of GOG and Steam, as others have also noted.

The Humble Store for the most part is just a frontend for others, especially Steam, but it does have some good DRM-Free games now and then.

I tend to categorize stores as either DRM-Free or DRM, so with that in mind GOG is the clear winner in its DRM-Free category.

As for the others, take your pick. Epic has my first vote though, as it has given the Gaming World many great free games (some AAA), in their war with Steam.

Many of the good games at Itch.io are also available at Steam and even at GOG etc.

At times it may be worth dealing directly with the Dev/Publisher of a specific game, even if you do end up with a Steam key or an Epic code etc.

Paul_Kwauk: But I've actually discovered Fanatical and the Humble Bundle websites recently. They too seem to have decent games much like here.
You can get some very good bundle deals from Fanatical, but they are only selling Steam keys, they have no other delivery method for games.

You can however get some DRM-free books that can be downloaded straight from Fanatical site.

I would also like to add Groupees here. They used to have some very good game bundles. They haven't had game bundles practically speaking at all lately, just indie music and rarely comics.

But if they get back to their gaming roots one of these days, it's a good place to get game bundles. On some rare occasion there even was GOG keys in some bundle, I think, but mostly it has been DRM-free downloads from their own site or Steam keys. Some other exceptions have been MangaGamer keys and such.

well next to those three gaming sites i use frequently or independent stores that sell keys for either one of those sites, such as fanatical or hrk gaming i try to get my games from the developers themselves as much as possible

EA has their origin store format
Ubisoft uses also its own store called Uplay
Stardock has its own store
Paradox have their own store
Slitherine/Matrix have their own store ( here most of the time you can buy the game and download it from them but you also receive a steam key )
and Blizzard of course have their own store too

( all digital stores btw )
