I forgot to export my bookmarks after a recent format leaving me wondering what this game was that I had seen.

It reminded me of Journey (the PS3 game) but first person and dark. I think it was a Steam early access game from a few years ago. Also the menus were in Russian, possibly stylized or just untranslated.

Precursors, perhaps?

To elaborate more, I don't remember seeing any enemies or characters but I think the game was first person. The gameplay consisted of wandering around bleak nightmarish scapes, such as dark corridors and tall building structures.

Also, it's available for sale on Steam (low price possibly sub $5), and has a wishlist entry on GOG.
