Better not skip this.

Dead in Vinland, a survival adventure about a family of exiled Vikings building a new home for themselves, recently got updated to v1.1. There is a lot of cool stuff to appreciate here but most notably:

- Newly introduced speed-up options that modify the pace of animations. Alternatively, you can click to skip most stuff, including dialogue
- Two optional RNG modes to tailor your chances better
- Distribute food and water rations more easily
- A sidebar with sorting options
- Reworked leveling up, inventory filters, more keyboard shortcuts, plus a slew of other tweaks, fixes, and balance changes

The 1.11 hotfix followup has also gone live.

Are we doing front page update announcements because the update notification system is broken?
Amazing.
there was a lot about that game that i realy liked and i was hoping for some changes that would make the gameplay more fluently.
I will test this in a couple of days.

thx devs!
Well, this looks like it addresses all the reasons why I put this on my wish list instead of in my cart...

Unfortunately it came AFTER the Summer Sale, so it'll be a while before I can pick it up, having just blown six months worth of my game budget in a week.

Though, you know, having left Steam it does help to no longer have two sales in a row follow me down a dark alley and empty out my pockets :)

Yeah, doesn't list hotfix in patch note list in Galaxy. It's not too major of a patch, and most of it can be replicated by reloading when certain things shouldn't have happened. But idk what the case is.

Sale or not I highly recommend this game - it's well worth it's price, being an unique blend of pen and paper RPG with management/survival elements.

Gotta have money for that...

I blew WAY too much of it in this last GOG sale, but it did bring down my wishlist considerably :)
