Hello all! I've been away for a bit, had been experiencing some pretty bad abdominal pains for awhile and I had to take a break to get it sorted out. Turned out to be a bad gallbladder, and it is now removed and I'm on the mend! Sure did make me grumpy when it was in and that's why I decided to stay away till it was over, didn't want to be grumpy to someone who did not deserve it.

So now to the giveaway, a classic game that they have redone and it looks like one of the better enhanced editions.

RULES (Pleae follow them or I cannot count your entry!)

1. State "I love the cold!" if want to be in or "The cold is for the crazies!" If not in.
2. You can enter for someone else, but only 2 entries per person will be counted
3. I do Love the cold, and miss winter. Post a pic of some cool winter shots :-)
4. It's ok to enter if have the original Icewind Dale game
5. No trading, this gift is for whoever wins :-)

Out of curiosity have any of you had a surgery before? Having the gallbladder removed was my first, and hopefully last LOL

P.S. Will run this till sometime this weekend depending on participation :-)

Welcome back, trentonlf! I wish you a quick, without severe side-effects, recovery.

Thanks for another awesome giveaway, but the cold is for the crazies!

I love the cold! +1, thanks for the giveaway.

Here is a video of a drone flyover in Antarctica:

Edit: I had wrist surgery. One of the small bones in my wrist broke and I didn't notice it was broken for like 3 months. It was aggravated by a previous time I had broken my forearm as a child. Anyway, it wouldn't heal so they had to put in a screw.

I love the cold! +1

Since I don't make pictures myself I do not have any winter shots I can share publicly.

Edit: Ha, I found online links to the pictures I have but can't share because of copyright. They can be found on pichost and [url=http://pichost.me/1338778/]here. And nope, I didn't up them. I just found them with Google. :-)

I did have surgery before. Twice actually. There is usually a good reason for surgery so after you have recovered from surgery you should start feeling better than before.

Welcome back and I hope you'll be fully recovered soon.

Not in, but thanks :)
Yes, I had a transplant, don't be afraid, with a bit of faith all will go in the right way :)
What? You can remove the gallbladder? O_o
Anyway, welcome back safe&sound.

Not in atm, but how are these enhanced editions?
I read that BG ones were super buggy and mods could accomplish the same result...
The cold is for crazies!

Welcome back! I am glad to hear the surgery went well.
Good to see you back, and wish you a quick recovery.

Cold, my worst nightmare!
Great to see you back trentonlf and sorry to hear about your ailment, my best wishes to you for a complete recovery soon. My mother also had her gallbladder removed a long time ago and its a pretty standard procedure these days as far as surgeries go. Also many thanks for the generous giveaway as always but you know it isn't really required for you to make a thread to let us know where you're been, but we know you don't need any excuse to do awesome giveaways. ;)

I love the cold! and would take it any day over this excruciating heat. I would like to be in for wolfsrain if I may and here are couple of nice winter pics.

I have been (mostly) away for several weeks with the end of tax season and some travel following. But I was just this close to asking if anyone had heard from you since I hadn't seen you around (even though I have missed plenty).

Sorry to hear things were bad, but it makes it that much nicer when things aren't. Glad to see you, trentonlf! Post wide and post far so I can give more +1s. :)

EDIT: My only surgery was dental when I had my wisdom teeth removed. And I woke up in the middle of it. Not too keen to try again. ;)

I love the cold!

Actually I prefer summer because in summer people wear less clothing ;) and by people I mean female people.

Then I found these pictures and winter isn't so bad.

Glad you are on the mend ...
Welcome back. Glad to hear the gallbladder pains are behind you. Will you have to change your diet as a result of the removal?
"I will probably love the cold!" for someone else later on.

EDIT: "I love the cold!" for Pardinuz.
Winter shot just for you.

I love the cold! Especially right now when it is 90 F. Phew!

I had a hernia operation when I was five. I was in the hospital a couple of days. I remember a confusing period of time with pain, drugs, no idea of night or day. My mom was with me most of the time and read me the books The Princess and the Goblin, and The Princess and Curdie.

Cheers!
The cold is for the crazies!

^^ actually, that is a lie but I had to say it to be "not in" :). I was born in Inuvik NWT and I spent a large portion of my childhood in Whitehorse YT. I love the cold, and I miss it too (I currently live in Vancouver, we barely get winter here at all).

I've had my gallbladder out too a few years ago, but in my case they were taking my entire stomach out at the same time so the gallbladder was just a small addition :D!

Anyway, glad you're feeling better and thanks for your generosity!
