hi i saw a bit of a video on youtube on adding more portraits to the pathfinder kingmaker pc game, but what i need is a step by step of how to do that. llike a post with the steps to do so i have 3 protraits i want to use and want to put them in the game and to look good too

even better would be to be able to download other portraits, I don't want to make anything unstable as to crash the game or whatever happens if there is some conflict in the photo(like if it's someone elses work that would be a copyright infingement(if don't want to inadvetently steal someone's image or drawing by adding it to my protrait options(

I Need a good grey or light purple skined Half-orc Monk, and two shortsword weilding halfling rogue, and a blad pale skinned elven or (lich looking would work male for my evil character which i want to make him either be undead himself or just looks undead in the portrait

It's not that difficult. I'll try to help.

1) You need to have 3 PNG (images, the portraits).

2) Name them Small, Medium and Fulllength (see the required resolutions at the end of the post).

3) Start a new game.

4) Choose Create a new character.

5) You'll see a tiny button just under the default portraits. Click on it.

6) Click on the Open portraits folder button.

7) Replace the existing portraits (they're just placeholders, don't worry) in that folder with yours.

8) Click the Refresh portraits button.

That's it. You're done.

The images must meet the following resolutions:

Small --> 185x242

Medium --> 330x432

Fulllength –-> 692x1024

You can use different images or you can just crop 1 to meet the required size.

So? Have you tried it yet? I have some cool portraits that you may like. Let me know if you've been able to "master" the editing or not though. Otherwise it wouldn't make much sense to give you something you cannot use. LOL

sorry i forgot to reply; i saw it and tried it and i figured how to do it now the only thing i need to fix an issue with; is the pathfinder kingmaker website.

They seem to have banned my account for some reason; (not sure why) the message i got was: "This account was banned with no specific reason given" and that the ban will never be lifted.

The only thing i did that was to add a few portraits to my game. (i don't think that would be the reason)

but i did notice someone with my username(or at least it's spelled the same; not the same email address though (someone who has youtube channel named Scarhunter (i have had some streaming on there( before i went to twitch (i don't think it's like an ID thief (though maybe that could have happend without me knowing), i think it's someone else with a similar username.

I can't even send a message to the contact here link, so i don't know what to do.

I'm still able to play my pathfinder game, but i can't post suggestion, or feedback; or anything else of the forum

might be possible that my account is new, and looks like new accounts don't get to post on their forum, i don't know how long it takes before i am given that privilage

my game stalls since i tried to add some portraits, i don't think i am allowed to add portraits i download on my comkputer, it freezes, and i the only way to fix it is to either hit reset button on my tower, or windows button then click restart, i must have to play with the portraits i have in-game no custom ones it also doesn't allow me labeling them Small Medium Fulllength (pixel adjustments), i'm going to try to only use the ones in game for now, unless someone can suggest a fix, i even uninstalled, and reinstalled, but still the same result

I've learned how to make a custom portrait and add it to the Portraits file. What I haven't figured out how to do is add more than ONE portrait so I can have two custom mercenaries at the same time. Every time I try to make a new character it just reverts to whatever's in the '0001' file in Portraits.
