Once my friend told me that EA will never make any cricket game after 2007 cricket game. I am curious to know is it true? if yes then what could be the possible reason? And which cricket game will you recommend me?
Thanks

Welcome to GOG, first of all.

Yes, it's true - EA hasn't made a Cricket game since 2007. We can only speculate as to the reasons why, but it may be simply that cricket is globally a very niche sport - very popular in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, India and yes...Pakistan. Not so much anywhere else. EA may just not have the licence anymore, or may not have an exclusive licence and may not be willing to make a game without one.

There's not really much choice to be honest. I have Ashes 09 for the PS3 (available on disc for the PC) and Don Bradman 14 for the PS4 (available on Steam apparently). The former isn't very good, the latter is very good, I hear that Don Bradman 17 isn't good at all.
I don't know anything about cricket but I would snag it in a heartbeat. From what little I have seen of it played it seems it would translate well to a PC/Console game.
it's because of the master of krikkit.

Cricket made interesting.

yeah yeah yeah I know :P

Just one more reason that I rarely admit to being an American.
EA Sports hasn't made any Cricket game since EA Cricket 2007.
Yet there are few moded games circulating over internet which includes some other game modes (20-20, etc)
I really thought this guy was asking about like a company outing EA did once a year, where they play cricket. Like a company softball game or something.

Legit - I clicked this thread hoping for insider information about the secret cricket pitch on the EA campus.
Well, we finally have the official old folks thread. Cricket in gaming, it's about as exciting as dried wood dipped in beige and placed on the slowest sand paper in existence.
