Elmofongo: Take the fighting game community with a grain of salt because I watch EVO (at least only the top 8s) and things like that don't happen all the time.

And even though stuff like what you will see in the Fighting Game Community is pretty much expected in anything that is competitive.

It happens in Real Sports, it happens in Video Game Competitions.

rampancy: Yeah, but that doesn't make it acceptable. We also have examples of good sportsmanship and losing gracefully in real sports, and while I'm sure there's a lot of it in Pro Gaming in general, it wouldn't hurt to see more of that in the fighting game community too.
And there are especially in EVO people shakehands even at the final matchup when one guy lost he accepted it and shook the victors hand.
On the topic of CS:GO gambling sites, Valve has issued an official statement today.
