Last night, in my dream I saw SKYRIM was on GOG. There were thousands of comments from people complaining about things, not being implemented as it should be. Some loved it, some hated it....

Why the hell did I see a game I never liked in my dream. I own skyrim on Steam yet I only played it for about 7 hours before I got bored and never touched it again.

Yeah, Skyrim is massively overrated. Bethesda writing leaves it bland and uninspring. All you need from Bethesda is FNV and that is indeed on GOG.

Its not. Wont be for a while I wouldn't think as they are still pushing different versions out. Maybe once the new ES game comes out (they switch between ES and Fallout, so new ES should be on way) and enthusiasm for Skyrim drops off we might see it here.

As for the game, its ok. Like all Beths games, they are at best a framework for modders. Just finished Fallout 4 and for the last half of it, just wished for it to be over. Empty dull, no story, repetitive quests. Nice enough graphically with some mods, and shootouts were ok. But no sense of anything interesting, the only "twist" to it you can see coming a mile off. Not to mention the load speeds were horrendous. Skyrim was slightly better, but still.

And Morrowind. That was great too and it's here as well.

I also liked Arena at the time, but it hasn't aged well.

I don't remember the melee combat system fondly, and the animations were wonky even in its time. But the world was way more interesting than the recent games and the writing was less stale from what I can remember. I sure can't recall any enemy in Skyrim telling me he'd kill me and **** the corpse.

So how was the game? In your dreams, that is? Was it the best game ever made?

I haven't seen GOG related dreams AFAIK, but I have seen gaming related dreams. Like the one which was basically GTA3 in real life, and I became a friend to a mafia boss who was one of the guys from the Pawn Shop TV-series (I remembered this only when I woke up, wondering why the guy in the dream was so familiar).

i fucking love skyrim and don't care about mods or other social features! bring it on gog!

I only remember the HUGE news on GOG homepage and the comments about it, not the actual game. I am not really sure but felt like the Legendary edition. Actually now that I think about it, it was both Special and Legendary Edition for once price.

Okay, I´m counting on that. :)
