...I thought about some things that are probably happening behind the scenes in this new situation, so I just wanted to create this thread for more visibility to any moderators, staff members, developers, etc involved reading this forum after said situation.

I hope the best to you, really. We know that it's not your fault and I personally hope that everything goes well over there decision-wise, for us and for the whole team. Like @mqstout said, we can't imagine the stress and strain you might have been feeling after CP2077 situation, and now with the HITMAN one. Sincerely, grab our care, affection and kindness to deal with this the best way you can.

As a mere customer, I don't really care about their staffing issues nor how exactly they run their business, what kind of business decisions they make etc. I don't go into such details as long as I don't own any GOG/CDP shares, or work for the company.

All I care is that they offer games I want, in a (DRM-free) format that I want. As long as they do that, I throw money at them. Like these games I've bought recently (prices in euros):

What utter tosh. It’s not for us to care what troubles a company. It’s is purely a business interaction. Not only that cyberpunk and hitman are only the latest two. There have been a catalog of “mistakes” over the last few years, no fixes or updates to anything other than galaxy, and the only response that has been given is to flood the forums with gog bots and sympathisers to fight fires.
