Hello, I have requested a refund and I have been waiting for a week, I have only received an automatic message telling me to attach more information to my request #1231088 while I am waiting, what more information do I have to give? I just want a refund, I bought the same game pack on another store (Xbox Microsoft Store), why do I have to wait so long for a refund to be processed? I have never had this problem in any other game store, can someone who works here help me?
You just have to respond and tell them if you want a refund to your original purchase method or to the store wallet. But you have to respond.

EDIT: Also, fair warning, they have a terrible backlog of tickets here and some people have reported queueing for a few months before being issued their refund.

Blues (GOG Staff) do monitor the forums so this thread should help bring it to someones attention and they may expedite your ticket.
If you want a fast refund to wallet, go to https://www.gog.com/account/settings/orders and click the "Ask for refund" link. You'll usually have it within hours.

If you want a refund to original payment source, expect to wait quite a while.

Not any longer, no. All OP's got to do is click on refund to original payment method or wallet credit. There is still this automated message and OP can provide additional details if there really is something GOG should know. Since OP is living inside the Euro zone and the request has likely been made within 14 days after purchase, GOG has to refund to original payment or store credit no questions asked or additional details provided. All he or she's got to do is wait until the game is removed from the library, a surefire sign that GOG is processing the request, then wait for the transfer to take place. This can take anywhere from some days to 3 weeks tops. With one of my recent requests they wired the money, but never sent another email telling me about it, which they usually do.

Bottom line, OP should keep an eye on his library to check whether the game is still there, and also on his bank, pay pal or CC-account. If it takes longer than 3 weeks they should get in touch with one of the blues or open another ticket. Maybe they will immediately deal with it now that it's discussed here, thumbs crossed. ;)

Store credit is not a refund.

gogs customer support is horrible, as almost everything else. if you paid wit a credit card, then do a charge back. if not, then you're screwed, until gog decides to respond. aside from rare exceptions, its just not worth it to buy on gog. there are better alternatives.

Wallet refunds can take up to 24 hours. Other types of refunds can take up to 30 days.

wait more padawan , no need to rush it
Yeah, don't listen to apehater, doing charge backs will get your ability to purchase here revoked. He doesn't like gog but still insists on coming here despite the better stores to go to.
Thanks for your replies. The truth is that I don't intend to ask the bank for a charge back, I don't think it will be the case. A year ago I had a similar problem and I got my money back, but it was worse because I had to fill in a form. Now at least if you ask for a refund you tick a box and the problem is solved, but it seems that this is not the case if you want the money in the same payment method. I have a lot of games bought on GOG and I have requested a refund about three or four times, with this the second one to the payment method and it seems to be a pain, if I compare it with other stores. I find it unprofessional and I don't like it at all.

I know I can ask for a refund in my GOG wallet, but there are other game discounts at other game stores and games that are not on GOG. But I can't see myself waiting a month. If so, I'll do a refund to the GOG wallet, spend it on some other game and with all my regrets next time I'll think long and hard about buying here.
Refunds to the original payment method can take several weeks. Give it a couple more.

One of the drawbacks of the "no questions asked within 30 days of purchase" policy.
