qwixter: Yes, August sucks, but at least September is next month, so there's hope for the shitty hot summer weather to go away.

What I really hate most about summer is yard work. My dream is to have a rock yard where I can spray weed/plant killer on anything that dares to grow.

drealmer7: spraying weed/plant killer is horrible!! use ACV+water!! or let them grow, what do they hurt really? especially compared to the toxins of weedkiller sprays!
I don't care. In my dream rock yard, nothing grows but maintenance free trees that drop leaves that end up in the neighbor's yard.

I have a love/hate relationship with August. I love that (American) football players are starting training camp, which means the season is only one month away. I hate that during the month they (each team) will be playing four preseason games that mean absolutely nothing with players that probably won't make the team.

I hate ants. And their swarming season. Fly! Fly away from me! And don't find a mate!

Also, summer holidays. How dare kids read and go to the library?! They should be out contributing to the delinquency of society and furthering the age gap by terrifying the old 'uns!

Did you know those tickets cost the same as regular season tickets? I had a guy yesterday try to pitch me his seats for the upcoming Packer/Raiders preseason game. $100 a seat! $100 so I can sit there and watch Aaron Rodgers do crosswords for three hours! :P

I'm jumping on the August-hatin' wagon.

I've always disliked heat, I'm more comfortable in cold environments.

And I can't even go to the beach on my own, so that makes it even worse, and working as a postman in this heat is quite a challenge since half of the staff is away on vacation.

Man I'd really like to move up to the north...

I'm meh about August. I hate the summer months because the grass grows ridiculously quickly and I have to mow all the time. I am fond of May, July, and October.

Of course you do since you live in Poland. Meanwhile I'm boiling under 40 freaking degrees celsius ( that's around 104 for those that use fahrenheit)

I sunburn easily and my psoriasis acts up in the summer. My room gets damp and sometimes ants or crickets wander on in. It's probably my least favorite season.
