I'd watch it if someone wrote a Boredom Simulator and people played it for sport.

Breja: Can we make an esport out of making esports out of things?
You mean "eSport manager 2019"? Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if that's actually a thing.

It actually is! https://store.steampowered.com/app/652660/ESport_Manager/
Huh?

I can see Esports being used for situations where it would be life threatening, like FPS games, and handling huge armies...

But farming?

Uggg... I don't see the point...........................

Mr.Mumbles: Uh, yeah. https://www.rock toiletpaper shotgun.com/2019/01/23/farming-simulator-esports-league Battle of the farmers, anyone?

I still don't get the point of any "normal" esport, but this one takes the cake. I want some of what they're smoking because that must be some really good shit.
Almost all Esports are a joke. If people can make a quick buck from them they will.
Take counter strike which has been flawed straight from the beginning but at least now there are easier methods to show its flaws.

I don't know of a single game that has perfect hit registration. I fail to see how that makes eSports a joke. It's just something a good player must learn to live with.

I will humour your silly comment.
It makes esports a joke because an important part of it being a sport, is not functioning properly, as well as pissing people off when they've performed better than their opponent and the game cheats them out of a win in a subtle manner.
A cynical person might say this has been left in there on purpose making the game easier for noobs and the random reward element of gambling.

Don't take my word for it here are some from the comments section.
Multi Million dollar E-sports game, and the hotboxes don't match the player model when moving.
Actually this was known in the hack scene since the update one of the cheat providers there is an option for the trigger bot to shoot the client side hit box and there is an option to shoot the server side hitbox same goes for the aimbot
The last comment shows why hack like tools are needed to research games like this. Valve have even done it themselves by having wallhack player outlines in spectator mode to make it easier to see wallhackers.

Spectre: ...
It's actually the noobs who get punished for not knowing how hitboxes behave. Real sports learn it.

This was always the case.
