Elmofongo: Authenticators, and changing the passwords and email address with new ones once a year
just get a password manager and let it generate codes for you

Elmofongo: So in case you are wondering what's happened. The Email Address that I was using for this account was compromised. It was hacked and compromised such a way that I could not even log in to this website at all registering it as "User Not Found"

I had to make a new account with the name elmofong0 (and another older one with an older registration date) but I knew me making another account to contact the people of GOG in the forums here would help because I have been waiting since November 9th.

I just want to say despite how long it took it came through. And I thank the GOG Team for helping me in my time of need.

And I made this thread just to confirm that its still me.

Welcome back and congrats on getting back access to your account and games. Make sure you change your email and update your passwords for GOG and the new email to something strong (at least 16 characters, capital letters, numbers, symbols, etc.) Oh, and use different passwords for the email and your GOG account.

Hey, really happy you got your account back. I really felt for you, but had little/nothing to to offer in the way of help, as pretty much you were already doing what could be done. I was sure, that eventually GOG would help you out, and happy to see all is well again. Welcome back, and enjoy your games again :D

Elmofongo: My brother and I are in constant communication, don't worry. And I didn't share any compromising messages with him that resulted in this hack.

I chat with him on Discord every once a week right now, and he regularly visits me in my house and vice versa.
I bet you two have the same Discord account and live in the same house!

Just kidding, I'm glad it all got sorted out.

I made a pretty dumb post on "elmofong0, the II" thread, that's what you get for posting at 1AM on a very long day, not reading all the posts (not even the 1st one correctly, since I didn't noticed you're using another account).
