micktiegs_8: I use Steam for Running With Rifles because GOG is too stubborn to accept the game.
Also Strain Tactics.
They aren't DRM free I made them DRM free.
Doesn't matter if a game is multiplatform, I will buy it here for the neat portable package.
It's almost impossible to find games on Steam among the piles of trash that gets put up there on the daily, so GOG is a no-brainer. Seriously, I only found out about Strain Tactics because it was uploaded on an illegal website and I thought it looked good for my taste and went and bought it. Running With Rifles was originally bought on Desura, but luckily that came with a Steam key pre-shutdown.
All the big games I just ignore. They look great and all, but they don't seem to last long and I'm not about spending a shit load for short play time. I'd rather pay for an escort.
i prefer to use GOG but some games will never get a GOG release so I have to use Steam
tinyE: I use both BUT I will always opt for GOG. If i have a Steam game that GOG gets, I buy it again in order to have it here.
I am not sure if I have ever bought a game again after it was released on GOG already having it on Steam. I don't have the income.
