Was curious as to what peoples preferences were. I for one use both. Prefering to use GOG if the game is on both but using Steam for games that haven't or won't make their way to GOG.
I use both BUT I will always opt for GOG. If i have a Steam game that GOG gets, I buy it again in order to have it here.
I use Steam for Running With Rifles because GOG is too stubborn to accept the game.
Also Strain Tactics.
They aren't DRM free I made them DRM free.

Doesn't matter if a game is multiplatform, I will buy it here for the neat portable package.
It's almost impossible to find games on Steam among the piles of trash that gets put up there on the daily, so GOG is a no-brainer. Seriously, I only found out about Strain Tactics because it was uploaded on an illegal website and I thought it looked good for my taste and went and bought it. Running With Rifles was originally bought on Desura, but luckily that came with a Steam key pre-shutdown.

All the big games I just ignore. They look great and all, but they don't seem to last long and I'm not about spending a shit load for short play time. I'd rather pay for an escort.

I am not sure if I have ever bought a game again after it was released on GOG already having it on Steam. I don't have the income.

Umm... okay? Just an off the top response lol. Why do people misread my shit all the time?
I primarily use Steam mostly because of bundles. There's also more indie adventure/puzzle games available there. I very rarely buy a game directly from Steam themselves, though. If I can help it, I prefer to give my money to either GOG or Humble to support them.

completely store agnostic. only thing I care about is the games and devs, not the store.

If you are store agnostic that means you are unsure if the existence of a store is ever even knowable.

aye, but I got my games!
I hate steam and won't use the client. Right now the only thing on steam i'll have anything to do with, is add free games that i occasionally get forwarded here.

Though i'm also annoyed at GoG. So i'm equally annoyed at both platforms.

Please tell me that doesn't mean you are an Origin or Uplay user?
Use both.. and Origin too.. and have a few freebies on Uplay too :P

Prefer GOG though, if a game is available here or elsewhere I'd always go for the non-DRM version.
