Like many others I'm looking forward to playing Blood & Wine. I have resisted playing Hearts of Stone so I can play both of them at the same time.

Today I have started gog galaxy and clicked on the Witcher 3 (which is already installed), clicked on "additional downloads" and realized there is a 5,1 GB file to download... o.O

Is there any way to let the gog client download dlcs for installed games on its own or do I have to manually check somewhere? I was pretty sure that I have already installed everything from TW3 and it would be a shame if I was finally able to play the new dlc just to find out I have to download a lot of other stuff first.

The additional downloads are the bonus extras. Like sountracks etc.
By default games are installed with all DLCs you own.

Wait.. the overlay is "DLC" as in added files... Galaxy keeps getting better and better!

I'm sorry to revive this again but 2 days ago I had gog Galaxy running the last time and there were no downloads.

Today I have started it again: no downloads. I went to TW3 and had look at the 'additional downloads' section. Under "DLC installation datas" (or whatever it is called in english - I use the german version where it's called "DLC-Installationsdateien" ^^ but I think the name should be similar) and suddenly had a 5GB download starting. I clicked on the next file and now it is 11GB although the settings have always been on 'automatic update'.

Any idea what this can be?

I sadly have no idea what's downloading because it is only named like that:
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt... 1.21 4GB
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt... 1.21 523MB


Is there something to worry or have there by chance been updateds just today?

Yes, the main game as well as the free DLC collection and Hearts of Stone have been updated today in preparation of Blood and Wine.
