blotunga: Besides Rome which i already have, does this lack anything from the Grandmaster Collection? I think not.
avatar
Grargar: It's also missing Fall of the Samurai and Total War Battles: Shogun.
I don't consider those as "important" except fall of the Samurai. Is the 15$ tier worth it? Compared to 7.5 which would be my BTA.

Well I say so it comes with a coupon for attila so I got that for 15 bucks so 30 all together.

Yupp, but even Rome 2 lacks many DLCs. I think the BTA will keep me occupied for a long time.
I have Rome and Medieval II from some previous bundle (haven't tried any of them yet, but I intend to). Is any of the rest worth getting? Reading around it doesn't look like there's a huge consensus on which TWs are the best...

Its definitely worth to get the second tier for 9.25€ which includes Shogun 2 Total War which is kind of by general consensus the last good Total War game, Empire/Napoleon Total War and the first Medieval Total War (similar to Shogun 1). Rome 2 on the other hand is forgettable.

Thanks for your opinion. But, I also heard that either Empire/Napoleon (don't remember which atm) were pretty meh, and Shogun 1 was superior to the sequel, hence my doubts...

Edit: For example, on Metacritic, Empire has 90 reviews score and 6.9 user score, while Napoleon is a solid 81 / 7.9. It sounds like Empire is one of those "love it or hate it" situations. Maybe I should just get the first tier for Shogun.

Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of Shogun II's Fall of the Samurai standalone expansion. Still a great bundle, but feels odd that they'd skip that but include Rome II.

Napolean is the better of the two games . Empires was and is pretty naff....
