Orkhepaj: another twitter trend based bundle
The propaganda bandwagon. People have no idea what's going on over there still, I see.
but you'd better not stray from the narrative or you too will be shunned. Buy this bundle of games and you can mend that bleeding heart.

How did we allow ourselves to become so stupid and complacent?

What we've seen in recent times.
Secondly a proper fundraiser would be for Poland.

Happy to have contributed to the now 7M+ euro amount for medical relief charities for Ukraine.

They certainly need them after Russian war criminals are bombing civilian targets and slaughtering children and pregnant women. Who the fck bombs a maternity hospital? Oh yeah, the bloodthirsty tyrant dictator Putler.

"B-bu-but muh nazis in Ukraine!!"

Open your eyes, you gullible "useful idiots".

fronzelneekburm: HAHAHA!
Yeah, we know your brand of "defending the victims". You won't rest until the Ukraine has become the next Syria/Lybia/Iraq/Afghanistan.

Zelenskyy had a peace offer with fairly favorable conditions
Ukraine is a sovereign nation, they decide their goals and elections. Invading a neighbor because you don't like their policies, shelling their cities from a distance and killing indiscriminately, is wrong. I can't believe that has to be typed out, but hey... welcome to the internet I guess. And don't whatabout me with some random example of a Western country doing it, because I'd disagree with that too.

Anyway, this debate is pointless... I only meant to reply to your "they're secretly arming Ukraine!!!" thing by telling you there's nothing secret about it on Western media, it is VERY well known.

Oh? Somebody ought to tell Victoria Nuland. There must have been some grave misunderstanding! xD

...but when the US does it to some desert shithole at the other end of the world, it's perfectly ok.

If, however, you're trying to say that you have somehow realised that invading other nations is in fact NOT ok, and all it took for you to realise that was Russia starting to do the same shit, then good for you! PROGRESS! :D

You don't need to lecture me. I don't yield any political power, believe it or not. Tell it to your guyz in DC! I'm sure they'll be open to your suggestions! Servants of the people, and all that!

"Whataboutism" is a term that idiots use when confronted with precedent. But ok...

avatar
StingingVelvet: a Western country
A WESTERN COUNTRY??? Come again?! Are you trying to deflect blame for the millions murdered by the US in frivolous wars based on lies, just so your establishment can grow rich over the misery and suffering of people on the other end of the world? Oh, don't tell me! It was all in the name spreading democracy/freedom/human rights!

And I ask you AGAIN: If everything is on the level, why mislabel an arms shipment as humanitarian aid? And why is this little gaffe apparently considered not newsworthy?

To make it a lesser target? Or maybe it's a BS story like so many others? How would I know? Point is you're trying to make the West arming Ukraine out as some kind of conspiracy theory proven correct, but it's all over mainstream media. It's not a conspiracy. Yes we're sending billions of dollars worth of arms to Ukraine. You caught us!

Rest is a pointless debate.

You are right, and the mainstream media is the enemy here. you know, they beam all those fake news into your skulls today. but as I know you are a brother in arms, I am willing to let you in on a secret! you can protect yourself from the consipracies, and only get the truth!
You must have forgotten you were on gog instead of facebook for a moment.

Gotta maintain that cognitive dissonance/ at any cost, I see.

Too much TV watching(and blind belief of what's said by people in fancy suits behind a desk), followed by too much internet(especially social media) use. Combine all that with a general "laziness" when it comes to finding out info/reasons for things("I read a social media post or two and watched some CNN/MSNBC/FOX.....done!").

Some things being too easy to get by might have some relation to it.

In schools before Computers/TV's/Calculators people had to memorize tables more and actually work at getting good at things. Internet and computers make a number of things too easy.

Diet has a large portion to do with it too. There's books on the 'grain brain' and 'sugar blues' which talk of overprocessing of food as well as our reliance on grain which we were never intended for, such things affect your mental health a lot, especially as super cheap junk food is so prevalent. Before cars were so available people walked biked more, and did running and more exercises, in so much that a 4000 calorie diet was the standard rather than 2000 today.

But i think prevalence of 'smart phones' tablets and gaming machines where people will spend their whole lives looking at a little glowing window, or playing an MMO like WoW for years with nothing to show for it.

You mentioned social media, and yes it's easy to spend hours on Facebook, or Youtube and just scroll through feeds and suggestions. But a lot of people unless they've woken up that most of what is put out is false, will just accept the first thing that comes to them. Though i'm certain that is changing.

Crosmando: Yes, because helping a country that has been invaded by a foreign army is a twitter trend. You should get out more dude.

§pec†re: If you cared more about your own country it wouldn't be in as much of a mess.

I'm wondering if you'd feel the same way if it was the Russian Army that just killed your family in a missile strike and were besieging London right now.

100% agreed.....these days with info so easy to obtain(or re-obtain) via search, many seem to just latch onto things that are catchy(memes/etc) or talking points from similarly aligned individuals(including news anchors) that sound convincing/truthful enough.

(underlining mine)

Dunno....seems people(as a whole) are becoming more dumbed down/NPC-like......though of course if people start to become wiser/smarter on the whole I would be happy to see such a trend.
