yyahoo: Okay, so initially DL'd Ironclad Tactics, the original edition, which I apparently got in a Humble Bundle last year. It had no extra campaigns and even stated that as a DRM-free version that the new campaigns could not be added.

When I realized my mistake, I DL'd the correct "Deluxe" edition and discovered that the two extra campaigns are indeed present. There is no multi-player functionality in either version.

Strangely enough, the file size for the Deluxe edition is 70 MB smaller than the Standard edition...
This sounds more encouraging, but I'm a bit confused about one thing - is there a standard and a deluxe version for direct download in this bundle?

No, I apparently got the standard version in a Humble Bundle last year. I'm guessing the Weekly Strategy Bundle in June.

You should name your device model at least.
First, if your device dont have Nvidia hardware - you 100% dont want Nvidia specific apk then - as always, Nvidia compatible with nothing.
If you have MTK based CPU in your phone - choose PowerVR. Thats that i can tel with no info.

I'm guessing they're talking about texture compression, and the different versions use different compression algorithms available in specific hardware. So the uncompressed version will have larger textures, which would both affect the app size and performance (more to fetch from RAM).

It plays pretty well with the following caveats (which at least were true when I played it):

Some graphical effects are missing (rain, for example).

Requires at least 1GB of RAM, and if you only have 1GB and you make the mistake of running other apps at the same time (such as browsing a walkthrough) the game might end up being closed, and you will lose progress. (That was a more serious problem when you were unable to manually save, but now it's probably less of an issue, although I haven't played the game since saves were added.)

Text can be a little on the small side.

Other than this, it ran pretty well on my Nexus 7 2012, and I enjoyed it.

Redfern: as always, Nvidia compatible with nothing.
NVIDIA is about as compatible with other chips as the other chips are compatible with each other. There's nothing especially incompatible about them. The only thing NVIDIA does which causes incompatibility is pay developers to release versions which are only offered for its hardware. But that's not an issue of hardware compatibility, it's just an issue of NVIDIA being incompatible with common curtsey towards users.

You have to beat the average at the time of your purchase to get the titles to be revealed, regardless of what the average price is later on.

Thanks. I paid above the average (4,25 if someone wonders), so that means I will get the unknown game whatever it is. I hope it will be a good game.
Ironclad Tactics is the only game from the bundle which I'm interested in. Thus I won't buy the whole bundle in order to get one game... :-S

BTA price is fixed for purchase at time payment made. So, if you paid 1$ at time when BTA was 3$ and later it raised to 10$ you still have to pay more 2$ to get BTA content, not 9$. Its works same way even if BTA later drop down.

Yes, other vendors often have own formats too. its one of reason why some game download resources from external servers after being installed - on start they check which format set supported by current hardware and download corresponding texture set. Other game developers choose safe path and use only common used formats or no compression at all.
But, again, its sole Nvidia thing to have game version in market which is compatible solely with Nvidia GPU.
Its not like i really hate Nvidia, anyway, funny thing its most safe choice in linux systems, but in term of mobile, even Linux Torvalds said "F*ck you Nvidia" (he was smiling, by the way).

I think that Microsoft deserves some credit for keeping GPU vendors in line on the desktop with Direct3D.

I hate NVIDIA business practices. They're all about being proprietary, and I feel that's held GPU use back over the years. It's a good business strategy, but sucks for consumers and developers.
So, almost after week i finished Inner World.
It was sure nice game...hand drawn, nice voicing (really nice), interesting plot. It would be even better if linux version had working media play (video)- without it i was clueless most of time. But still, it really wort to try.
So, new stuff is Solar Flux, Eufloria and Toast Time, all crossplatform+ android/
