Humble Jumbo Bundle 10

Tier 1:
– Grey Goo Definitive Edition (Steam)
– Epistory – Typing Chronicles (Steam + DRM-Free)
– Oddworld New ‚n’ Tasty (Steam)

Tier 2 (BTA):
– Prototype 2 (Steam)
– Kingdom: New Lands (Steam)
– How to Survive 2 (Steam)
+ more games in a week

Tier 3 (> $10.00):
– Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut – Standard Edition (Steam)
– $2 Humble Wallet credit for Monthly subscribers
- Wasteland 2 Soundtrack

Well worth the asking price, in my opinion
Wasn't Grey Goo removed from here for being awful and broken, or am I thinking of something else?

$1 for New 'n Tasty is amazing though. Pity I've already got it. I'm somewhat interested in the Prototype games, so I'll see if the first is one of the games added in week 2 and maybe buy it then.

I'm only interested in Oddworld New ‚n’ Tasty and Wasteland 2, but there's always the option to trade away the other games for something more interesting. Still, I am glad for the offer, bundles such as these are a great way to build up a library without spending too much money.

Grey Goo was never on GoG. Not sure which game you could be thinking of tho.

you are thinking of dark matter.
so many steam only games in this bundle.
quite meh this month imho
Worst. Bundle. Ever.
Not sure why this HB needed a separate thread (from other generic HB or gaming deals threads), but whatever.

The bundle looked mostly meh to me, but maybe that is just me. Pass.

Randalator: Worst. Bundle. Ever.
why?
Lame Bundle. The previous Jumbo bundles were much better. I'll pass.

Which games did you recommend it for, specifically? Mostly the ones in the first tier, I assume?

Since I already have those, it becomes a little more difficult to decide whether it's worth it. I have and like Prototype and How to Survive, but both sequels seem to be rated a lot less favorably. Apparantly Prototype 2 doesn't run on the most recent Windows versions for a lot of people. Kingdom: New Lands is a game that looks appealing graphically, but I have no clue what the gameplay is about, and from the few I remember it's kind of a managerial, strategy or tower defense game (neither is among my favorite genres)? And I've heard Wasteland 2 wasn't as interesting, too focused on combat and maybe quite repetitive?

Wasteland 2 is pretty much the "real Fallout 3". Definitely worth full-price.

Tbh, I haven't even played the first two Fallouts yet, I just heard from others that Wasteland was a bit meh ... What makes it so good, in your opinion?

Writing, setting, atmosphere, characters etc. :D

It's very old school cRPG with turn-based combat. Similar to, let's say Baldurs Gate and Jagged Alliance.
