Redfern: For books - yes, cannot not agree.
As for Android games - yes and no, humble BUILDS (yes, these apks they distribute is NOT same distribured in Gplay) is DRM-free, but i found that these builds somewhat rarely updated.

I can't speak to the frequency and timeliness of updates, but over 100 of the android games that I've gotten from Humble (about half of them) have been updated at least once and many multiple times...
Examplaes...i recall Smuggle\Snuggle Truck is being outdaten. Star Command was outdaten at time i played it, i sent email to devs and never got response from them. Even right now Humbe Library says that Star Command was last udated 2014-03-11 and latest version in Google Play is April 11, 2014 (newer)

I don't know about Smuggle/Snuggle Truck, unfortunately, that's before I discovered Humble.

As for Star Command, Humble is only 1 version behind at 1.1.5 where Google Play is at 1.1.8. According to Google Play notes, the changes in 1.1.8 are rather minor.

If you want bad, you should check out Star Command on Amazon's App Store. They're still at 1.1...

Not very minor...in Star Command when you finish game you have opportunity to "restart" it from scratch with your crew from previous, already trained. In Humble's version at this moment game just crash, in Google Plays this bug is fixed. And doesnt look like developer is going to update Humble's version.

While we're on the subject, does anyone have the Humble version of Joe Dever's Lone Wolf? According to Google Play, all four episodes are out, but my Humble download only shows Episodes 1&2, with no update or option to download the rest. Does it only prompt for a download when I finished Episode 2, or were they lying when they said it was the Season Pass in that bundle?

Odd, the description for my Humble DL is "Joe Dever's Lone Wolf: Full Game". 1014.4 MB last updated 2014/12/03
