Hi, there!
I'm the author of the mod The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal for Skyrim.

I've already released on the Nexus but I would like to install here too, so how to do?

A note: I don't own GoG version of Skyrim, only for Steam.

Thank you.

You can't.

That’s not how it works on GOG, there’s no mod library.

What GOG does is premod the game, and then you download that full version of the game with the mod already installed. You can’t download individual mods or choose which ones to install yourself.

This also means that each modded game you get from GOG has only one mod installed.

That’s why almost all the mods offered this way are large total conversions. Honestly, I think calling it "modding" or referring to these as "mods" is a bit misleading, and I think we’ll see a lot more confusion and threads like this because of it.

Thank you for the reply and clarification.
The only way to get some visibility, according to a blue in the main thread is to make a wishlist entry for it, and if it get enough tracktiion they will look into incorporating it.

We see quite a few mods that you guys would like to see being a part of One-click Mods, awesome :)

Adding them to the Dreamlist is the best way to let us know what to prioritize, so go do just that!

So feel free to make an entry there if you want.

And if people are interested, here is a link to the mod :)

Due to the completely buttocks first approach that GOG has taken to this, you don't.

I don't know how or why this was implemented in this way, and frankly I grow more confused the more I think about the number of people who would have had to have approved this approach in full.

And it better stay this way. Game stores are not an appropriate place for hosting mods.

Dedicated modding resources, game fan-sites and developers personal web-sites are a lot more suitable for the task.

The only kind of mods, which placement here and distinct installation format can be justified, are projects, whose size is comparable to a full stand-alone game or a really large expansion.

Personally, I prefer calling any modifications "mods", not "dlcs" like before ( which was misleading as well )

However, GOG should provide better descriptions of their initiatives to prevent possible confusion.

I kinda agree, but some people expected GOG's version of Steam Workshop. This is not it.
