So in the GOG galaxy client, there's this neat feature where you can customize the media of a specific game. Is there a way to save those default images?

I really need a good source of square Icon for a project.

Check this folder C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\webcache

That's really nice, at least I now know that they are already on my computer, but its really hard to find specific game images, since it uses some id.

Thank you very much!
It is very easy, it takes less than 30 seconds on my old PC to check what you are looking for i.e. to find the right folder for the game you need.

Will edit post later once I finish some things first.....

EDIT: You can search webcache folder for e.g. Vertical (that's for Tile image) and it will list all Tile images, just set the search folder to show Large icons or whatever suits you to see the actual image, when you see one right click on it and choose open file location, and that is it.

You can also earch by extension i.e. by webp and that will list all you have at that time, if you don't have some images, you need to visit the game in GOG Galaxy for the images to be created on your PC.

Here's a trick (for the posters or screenshots):

- Download Launchbox (it's free)
- Import your GOG library
- Find all covers in Launchbox\Images\Windows (or DOS)\GOG Poster
