I have visa prepaid card and recently made 39 euro transaction here on gog.com (my local currency is HRK), but I feel like they took way too much currency conversion charge. Is there better way of paying on gog.com for those who can't use euros on their credit cards?

I think it's not GOG that thakes the curency conversion charge, but your bank. People from certain countries (e.g. UK and USA) reported steep fees in the past.

In that case it might be best to use the GOG wallet instead (one transaction with a larger sum and use the wallet funds after that).

IIt's not GOG but banks & card operators who rip you. Sometimes (my bank does this) if card is charged in EUR transactiuon is first being converted into USD and then into local currency. Of course with each conversion you will be ripped. Try to buy games in USD - it's possible you will pay a bit less. You could also get yourself a card with a currency that can be used on gog.com.
