Due to a screw up with the pinata sale I was offered a refund and chose the original payment method option. I sent off my request yesterday afternoon and a second response about it at 11.45 today but have heard nothing since. Despite being with this site from its first days I have never asked for one before so have no idea how long it takes to process.

What was the payment method? If by card, it could depend on many factors, including what bank you use. Even up to few business days.

EDIT: This is based on my experience with other online stores that refunded after using my credit card.

I used PayPal, but I haven't received a reply email saying it's being processed or going to be processed, just one offering it and I sent two replys to it.

I asked for a refund for 2 games back during the recent June sale and it took about 6 hours for them to refund it to my Wallet (I paid using PayPal). I only sent in a single ticket though.

Just speculating but the delay might be due in part to the Polish holiday

Refunding to the Wallet is pretty much instantaneous, as soon as GOG support approves it, but OP mentioned refunding using his original payment method, which means refunding to Paypal. Not sure how long that takes.
If it's a polish holiday that may well explain the lack of response, I did send my original reply to thier offer at half four yesterday, and if the staff arn't working today I may just have to wait till tomorrow for them to spot my replys to the emails.

EDIT: Maybe they could put a list of the staff's holidays somewhere so we know when they happen, we have a lot more holidays then the Americans running steam over here in mainland Europe and the UK.

OK, it's just I haven't heard anything from them since sending the request, but if its a holiday where they are that is probably why not. PayPal refunds to my bank are normally very quick from EBay, my bank runs quite fast anyway.
