The whole staff is still working from home due to the virus, so a week's wait is nothing out of the ordinary for the time being. I know of other issues not having been resolved for months(!) now.

I'd give it another week, and then open up a new ticket, in case it still hasn't been refunded.
In any case make sure to keep the original request, so that you have proof and still can get the refund long after the 30 days are over.
First, it depends are you even eligible for a refund. Second, it depends on how long it takes them to get to your ticket. These days they are quite busy, and it takes them to reply way longer than usual.

It's "no questions asked" now, remember?
My last two (over a month ago) went through within hours. Got an automated reply very soon asking me whether I'd like my refund as GOG wallet funds (which I'd already asked for when I created the ticket), then something like 6 hours after responding to that, it went through and I got the ''I've refunded the purchase to your GOG wallet'' message from a staff member. Of course, I was not asking for a refund in any other payment method, it was not during a major sale, and I'm also a regular and long-time spender here, which might expedite requests (just my theory, of course). Also, my tickets took way, way longer when the virus thing was at its peak.
I think that the most important thing is to respond for 1st automatic email. Without that it take no progress. This response starts the process. Your refund request just generates an automatic email, nothing more.

This is just my opinion. Only a staff member can confirm this.

Do you mean GOG chat message or email?
I haven't got any GOG chat message from a staff member.

No chat, I don't know if any kind of chat is even used for support. However, all staff responses show up as both emails and on your ticket on the support center, and if you respond by email it also automatically updates your ticket on the support center with your response.

So in addition to not being able to code, GOG doesn't know how to utilize remote access?
I have requested a refund and got it under 1 hour. But that was 4 years ago. I asked for store credit.

Definitely ask for an update maybe once a week or every two weeks. I had a refund ticket up in the air for a solid month, asked for an update, ticket resolved in a day or so. I think they are still under staffed or something rn.
