What kind of deal is made with game creators?

People in cowls make secret chants and summon imps from the void to witness signings in blood. I mean seriously, how does anyone one? And it’s not public knowledge.

I thought that was how you applied Demon Rite Magick in the first place. Banishing it requires a potion made from sanctified wine, unicorn tears, and the Queen's last Rolo.

That's why DRM is still so prevalent. Nobody wants to make the unicorn cry. (Well, that and Her Majesty has a team of ninjas protecting her Rolos at all times).

So when do we get to nubile young virgins? Just asking, not necessarily for any particular rite :o)

everyone on the forums is a cynical bitter lonely old man emotionally invested and subsequently let down by GOG ;)

To try to answer your question, here are my guesses: for new games, the devs and publishers are small enough that the small money they'd get from GOG would be meaningful to them; GOG basically only gets scraps from AAA devs and publishers (and I don't think we've gotten anything recently from them), and lowered their profit share to try to attract more; GOG agrees to do technical work in exchange for releases here (Blizzard games, Konami games, and basically all "good old games" in the past; not sure if they do anything on Piko releases).

I'm not lonely or let down. :)
