IMHO, the best expansion/major DLC I played and enjoyed the most is Diablo II: Lord of Destruction!

like starcraft bloodwars? those are good , i hate the small dlc-s they make the game feel incomplete

Bugfixes, new content, an entire campaign, that connected smoothly into the main content.

vv221: And let’s not forget some quality of life improvements, including the ability to queue up the production of multiple units in a single building, or the ability to select all visible units of a given type using a double click. Things we kind of take for granted in current games, but were still quite fresh at the time.

Oh, and a new full soundtrack of course.
But of course, if I tried to complete the comparison entirely, my post would have taken orders of structure longer.
