I know how to GIFT a game when I buy it, but how does one GIFT any of the free games? I already own one of the games so I clicked REDEEM for the other two and they landed in my library. If I click REDEEM on the game I already own will it land in my library (again) or will I get a key instead or some other means to gift the game?

If you already own the game, you will get an email with a gift code.
If you already own the game, you'll instead get an email with a giftcode that you can give to someone.

You should receive an email for the game you already owned with instructions to redeem the game that can be given to someone else. It will not appear in your library twice ;-)

EDIT: ninja'd x2! :p

You get a gift code sent to your email for the games you already own.
Sure, I'll join too:

If you already own a free game then check your email. Because that's where GOG will send you your gift code.
Thank you to everyone! That gives me the confidence to click REDEEM now. :)

Just note that the sale XP reward games don't give normal gift codes, but rather promo codes that won't appear in your account's orders list (so save the e-mail!), and which will expire a month after the sale's over. (Most other store giveaways, such as the Neverwinter Nights one, give normal, non-expiring gift codes, though.)

Ok, so where would I find the gift code for Neverwinter Nights?

As I said, that behaves like a normal gift code -- so, on your "Orders & Settings" page. (You can click the "Orders history" dropdown and filter by "Unredeemed gifts", to find it easier.) :)
EDIT: Oops, wrong link!
