It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Gilozard: It was a typo. I mean doesn't download Linux versions and had a brain fart while typing.

tritone: Gotcha. That's OK. The Windows version of the GOG Downloader does download Linux versions... but maybe you're saying the downloader itself doesn't run on Linux, so then you can't download Linux games from Linux itself? That would be unfortunate, to say the least!

I sometimes use the browser links to download a game. You don't have to open the "More" button to do that... they're right there on the same page. Then you could use whatever "download plug-in" you have. I have "DownThemAll" in my Firefox.

I should just quit while I'm only way behind... :)
Nope, I mean the Downloader doesn't download Linux versions, depending on the game. GOG stopped supporting that for games released at some point after the Galaxy launch. The links are on the GOG Downloader links page, but clicking on them does nothing. I think it still works for games released pre-Galaxy but I've stopped check and just download all Linux versions through the browser now.

I even sent in a bug report and got back a 'working as intended, switch to Galaxy' message. Perhaps they've changed that if your Downloader can grab Linux versions even for recently released games.

Wow, you are correct! My bad! I just remember seeing Linux Installer links on the GOG Downloader page for (Windows) games I bought, and wouldn't you think... I just assumed GOG would make them work or they wouldn't bother to put them there! If they KNOW the links don't work, why put them there? Just extra work for them, I guess. Or maybe... taking them OFF is extra work for them?

Hoodathunkit. Thanks for correcting me. Please sir, may I have another?

It's a bit strange, isn't it? They worked pre-Galaxy, and I suppose GOG doesn't want to do any work for the Downloader at all if they can help it. Download pages are almost certainly auto generated so it'd probably involve changing the template and generation code and I can understand not wanting to do that for an unsupported piece of software, even if I dislike it.
