Simple thing really, I'll be going for work in a couple hours, how do I set up galaxy so it start downloading Pathfinder kingmaker when it release in 5 hours so I have it ready when I come home? I tried looking up the game option in my library but everything is greyed out.

Unfortunately, we currently do not have the pre-load feature in our Galaxy Client. Downloading the game will become available only after its release. Sorry for the inconvenience :(
Set up some form of remote desktop (Google has one built-into Chrome that works reasonably well) and start the download manually when the game is released?

^This. I recommend AnyDesk which is free and can be run "portable".

I know a lot of the regulars here don't really care for the idea of a Galaxy app, but this is one of the main reasons I wish there was one. People have remote control of their system downloads on Steam, PSN and Xbox Live, it'd be damn convenient if I could do the same with Galaxy.
You could record a macro.

But that'd be a bit silly.
