Darvond: Congratulations, you can buy a neat game or something. Read the fine print next time you refund something.
You could try a chargeback, but that's not gonna do a whole lotta good since you've contractually speaking, accepted recompensation for your refund.
What fine print?
In GOG support:
"Are GOG Wallet funds themselves refundable?
You may request a refund for GOG Wallet funds within 30 (thirty) days of purchase if they were purchased on GOG and if you have not used any of those funds, in effect from March 26th, 2019. We think it's fair that this policy applies only to unused GOG Wallet funds purchased by you using real money.
This refund policy will be subject to a fair use policy: as long as you use it reasonably, you should be fine. However, if we believe that you are acting unreasonably or are abusing the program, then we reserve the right to refuse to grant you further refunds.
Technical limitations may apply to some payment methods, namely pre-paid cards where we may not be able to provide you with GOG Wallet refunds."
They are stating the Wallet funds are refundable. I don't want any games right now. You see, I bought a game two weeks ago because I wanted that specific game, not because I wanted to spend money on a game in general. The game was not working, like at all - it was totally unusable, and I had to do a web search to find out the game doesn't work properly GOG. Maybe GOG shouldn't be selling games that don't work? Next time you should read the what you call "the fine print."
bardberic221: First of all, what happened to the support chatbot? It was wroking fine last week, now it just... disappeared? I found that chatbot was very useful for these things...
I purchased a game two weeks ago, but it was broken. I just didn't work, and I requested a refund to my GOG Wallet because I didn't want to deal with havingit refnded back to my bank account, which looks like it would be a headache.
Honestly, I can't find any other games in which I'm interested in getting that uses up these funds that does not cost more than the funds themselves. I'm not spending any more money, and frankly, I'm really just not interested in buying anymore games at the moment. I'm not a wealthy person, and I really want my money back at this point. There's no point in keeping this money in my Wallet and the money could be better used elsewhere.
GOG states they can refund the wallet money if it's within 30 days of obtaining it (it's been about 14 days, now). How do I go about doing this? There's no button to do so, and I'm not dealing with filling out a form - 99/100 times I never get a response from online forms, hence why the chatbot was so useful for these situations. What am I supposed to do for a refund of my wallet funds? They don't explain how to do this, but they state that they will do it. Help please.
Thank you in advanced.

GOG Wallet and its funds have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. GOG Wallet funds that are considered legally to be unclaimed property may be turned over to the applicable authority.
I'm afraid that you can't refund your Wallet Funds unless you bought them.
That means GOG funds can only be used on GOG, but if you read further down you'll see they are stating they're refundable. I just want my money back because they sold me a broken game and I really don't want anything else. I don't like most older games, and the newer games are too expensive, for the most part. There is nothing I can afford that I would want in my collection.
Frankly, at this point, if they won't return the money, I probably won't be using GOG anymore because they sold me a faulty product for which they are not taking responsibility. You can't charge someone money if the the service or product doesn't work...
Braggadar: OK, so what I'd do is forget the form/bot.
Type up a proper email (from the address associated with your account) explaining EXACTLY what happened and when. Who you are, when and what you purchased, when you refunded for wallet funds, what this came to etc. Include the original order number... hell, provide screenshots of your order and wallet funds if you want to be thorough. Be exacting with your detail and use polite and precise language.
Then send your email to: support(at)gog.com
Sometimes asking very nicely and avoiding wasting support's time with follow-up correspondence can get you what you want. But don't expect your email to be responded to very quickly; if you want support to to look into your case you'll have to be patient.
I can't guarantee they'll do the refund, but you can at least try and see how far you get.
I'm not wasting my time on a form that has a 99% change of being ignored.
How about I just never buy anything from GOG again. I spent an x amount of money on a game and the game didn't work. Now I have to go through the headache of trying to get that value back because they can't stand behind the product they sell. Don't sell broken products!
