As title, seemingly no option to edit. I missed 1 word and the review sounds contradictory now....
I don't think its possible, sadly... GOG's community features are not as complete as like, Steam for example. Like how you also cannot find your reviews without scrolling back on the review pages.
Message Support with link to review and your updated text.

Hopefully this will be one of the next upcoming features of site improvements.
You don't. At least, not easily.
I mean, I read it again. It is a little strange....but not to embear-assing lol
A little typo never hurt. I guess on the bright side it is not a popular game.
Thanks folks.
That's the neat part, you don't!
Happens to the best of us ... and to me.

The possibility to edit would be nice indeed.
You have to message support to delete it and then post it again.

A few months ago, I wrote this in a different thread already, so I'll simply repeat it here:

Instead of writing and posting your review on the game's store page, why not write and post it as a "review-thread" in the game's subforum?

That way, you are not hindered by a character limit, and you can later edit your review.
You can even add some screenshots, if you want.

Edit: almost forgot - this way you can also mark your review thread as "my favourite topic", so you'll easily find it again.

Also: (though some people may abuse this and some others may therefore not like it):
other people can directly react to your review, ask questions and/or leave comments of their own
(which may agree or disagree with your review - one has to be able to deal with that, of course).

And on the game's page itself, you simply put your general opinion of the game in the review's title (= whether you liked it, or not, or if it was "meh", etc.) and then put the link to your review in the game's subforum in the text field.

Maybe along a few lines like:
"Since GOG doesn't allow reviews to be edited, I put my full review to [game's name] in the game's dedicated subforum: [enter link to said review-thread].

Or:

"Since the character limitation for GOG reviews didn't allow my review to be posted in full, I put my review to [game's name] in the game's subforum: [enter link to said review-thread].

You catch my drift.

I attached an example of how such a "review-thread" and the link to it can look like (though you might want to be a little more specific with your own review, of course).

Huh, this is actually a pretty great idea. But too much of these review threads could definitely clog up a subforum, especially if the game is popular. I still hope GOG will enhance the review feature (or some other community related stuff) some time in the future.

I don't know what the average number of reviews for the most popular games is (and I doubt everyone, who is willing to write a review, will go this way), but I agree: that may indeed become a problem.
(Though: many subforums already have a high count of "zero-reply" threads)

However:
this problem could easily be circumvented, by simply opening a dedicated "Review-Thread" under each game's subforum, in which everyone posts his/her individual review to the game.

The benefits of this solution would still be the same, and an added bonus (for those interested) would be, that well and extensively written reviews have a chance of getting "upvoted" (= receiving rep-points).

One thing that would become a little harder with this "one-thread-for-all-reviews" solution: finding one's own review again.

But even that issue could be relatively easy solved (and would then still be better than the way it is now with the dedicated reviews under each game's store page): by simply copying and saving the link to one's review in a spreadsheet.

That way, if you want to find your review inside the "Review-Thread" again: simply copy the link to it in your browser, et voila: your review.
